The series returns from Summer break! Hosted by MRAN’s Silver State Trailblazers, Round 5 is set in the scenic Caliente, Nevada. This event is known for it’s monsoon soaked terrain and fun flowing trail system. It’s a great event for first-time series riders, or those looking for a less technical course. This is a Motorcycle only event, in which all classes will race on Saturday. A National number is required, unless the Racer is a member of MRAN, and has a locally approved number.

- Main Event: ~ 80 Miles
- Parade to Start: 3 miles
- Loop 1: 18 Miles
- Loop 2: 36 Miles
- FINISH FOR: ALL C Classes, Masters, Pioneers, Hooligan, Adventure, Trophy and Women Vet 35+
- Loop 3: 33 Miles (All Pro, A and B)
- Youth Event:
- 8am Race 1 (Pee Wee): ~2 Miles for 30 Minutes
- 9am Race 2 (ALL remaining Youth classes): ~8 Miles for 1 Hour
- Girls, Jr. Girls, Micro Mini Sr, Micro Mini Jr, Big Wheel, Mini, Jr. Mini

- There are no camping, gate or membership fees necessary to race with us.
Other Fees
- All racers must have a Moto-Tally Transponder – $10 (required and must be place under helmet visor, existing Moto Tally strip is okay to use if in good condition). Moto-Tally transponders typically last for multiple years if maintained properly, and are compatible with any series that also uses Moto-Tally scoring.
- All riders must be an AMA Member. Memberships are available at Registration:
- Day Pass Membership: $20 (Day Pass may credit towards Annual membership post-event)
- Annual Membership: $49
- There are NO Membership fees / NO camping fees / NO gate fees
- If you do not have a National or local MRAN number ON your bike, you must purchase a temporary number, available at Registration for $10 and good for one event only.
Anything special I need to bring for this race?
- Spark arrestors are required.
- Be sure to bring a proper hydration system, as Summer temps are to be expected.
- Camping is welcome, and there are local hotels available.
- Cash or Check, Credit Card services available.
- The Bomb Run is Walk/eMTB only. Riders are NOT permitted past the end of bomb per series rules.
- The Start Line is 3 miles from Pits, and riders will parade together to for the Main Race.

Silver State Trailblazers
Years hosting National Hare & Hound events: 10+
The Silverstate Trailblazers have been a part of the AMA National Hare and Hound circuit for nearly a decade! Known for putting together a course that’s notorious for its flowing trails, mix of sand washes, single track and two track, the “Muley Run” serves as the perfect start to the second half of the season.
Motorcycle Racing Association of Nevada hosts 18 different races across three different series offering something for everyone. Desert Series races which are not shorter than 60 miles in total distance, Grand Prix’s working with local tracks and neighboring states, and a Night Series where races are limited by time or the first to complete a number of laps after dark. “No matter how young; (or how old) how fast or how slow, we’re all about having fun and bettering the sport of motorcycle racing.”
MRAN offers novice, amateur, expert, and an AA premier class, along with women and quad classes, divided into Open, 4-stroke, 2-stroke, lites, over 30, over 40, over 50, divisions. For the kids 85cc, 65cc, 50cc.

The Terrain
Racers of the Silverstate Trailblazers Muley Run National can expect a little bit of everything! The elevation is between 5000-5750ft, and the event takes place during monsoon season. Historically, racers have experienced damped conditions, rain/hail conditions and dry conditions. The terrain is made up of flowing sand washes, two track, single track and elevation changes.
Directions
From Victorville, CA:
- From I15-N towards Las Vegas
- Take exit 76B to merge onto I-15 N/US-93 N toward Salt Lake City
- Take exit 64 for US-93 N/Great Basin Hwytoward Pioche Ely for 0.3miles
- Continue onto US-93 N/Great Basin Hwy for 0.1 miles
- Keep left at the fork to continue on Exit 64
- Continue onto US-93 N for 142 miles
- Follow race signs for specific direction to Race Site.
From Salt Lake City, UT:
- From I-15 S/I-80 E, continue south for 56.1 miles
- Continue on I-15 S for 191 miles
- Take exit 59 for UT-56 toward Cedar City
- Turn left onto UT-56 W/W 200 N, continue for 60.3 miles
- Continue onto NV-319 W, continue for 19.3 miles
- Follow race signs for specific direction to Race Site
